"PR cocktail for Youth worker" Training Course
The Training Course “PR cocktail for youth worker” is organized by "Armenian PR association" scientific-informational NGO in cooperation with Federation of Youth Clubs of Armenia and its European partner organizations with the aim to raise visibility and awareness of the Youth Work for democratic participation, share good practices and improve the quality of future youth projects by using the Public Relations. During this training, participants from 12 different countries will be trained in the necessary skills for Public Relations, youth work for democratic participation, article writing, on-line youth work and social networks, exchanging cultures and experiences of social work, promoting active citizenship and civic participation. This training will last a week and will require a very active attitude from the participants and will be intensive.
The main aim of the project is to assist youth workers and young people in Europe in gaining knowledge of the basics of public relations, obtaining skills of a journalist and use them in their daily youth work with young people with fewer opportunities. It will include workshops and simulations giving the participants opportunities to work together in the area of Youth projects and Youth policy in order to promote active democratic participation, intercultural awareness, create mutual understanding and confidence despite different living conditions and diverse cultural heritages across Europe. The Training Course is intended to strengthen partnership between YiA Programme and partner countries, crystallize the ideas, make new contacts and make one strong move towards the concrete project realization in the framework of the Youth in Action. The Training Course will provide the learning & networking opportunity to work on cultural diversity of Europe. All participants will have the chance to share their experience as Youth workers, their knowledge and skills in work with young people, especially those from less advantaged backgrounds. With the support of Armenian Ministry of Sport and Youth affairs, Armenian Mass Media the Training Course will also enable European Youth workers/volunteers to gain firsthand knowledge and experiences of Youth activities and PR in Armenia.
PR in youth work is also needed during and before/after a project. This is one of our main focuses. It will increase the visibility of Youth work in Europe. The participants will have an opportunity to think about more creative youth work, by using PR and social media, to involve young people into civil society, empower them to be active citizens. The participants will asses gained knowledge and get Youth passes.
The organizers will reimburse max. 70% of participants travel costs from the home city to Yerevan and from Yerevan to back home after the training course via bank transfer.
Reimbursement of your travel costs can be only done upon submitting the original tickets, original invoices(NO COPY) With Stamp and Signature, boarding passes tags, etc. - or upon presenting the payment evidence along with the original ticket or e-ticket (with the boarding pass wherever applicable) and submitting us the respective copies.
All the requested documents serve as supporting documentation for the Project Final Reporting (and reimbursement).
